Advice That Stuck With Me

We are always given different pieces of  advice for different aspects of our lives. While we forget the some of the advice some of it really sticks with us. I believe this advice is very important. We might not realise this when we get it but as time goes on we might find ourselves thinking about it. I have received quite a bit of advice over the 17 years of my life and here is the advice that stuck with me.

Be yourself
We have all heard this one and no matter how many times we've I heard it I still believe it is the most important. My mom always tells to be myself  because whenyou remain true to yourself and love the person you are nothing can stop you. It is quite hard sometimes because there are so many expectations to reach but I always keep this advice in my mind. There is no right way to live your life. When you are yourself you can make your own choices, make your own mistakes and just learn along the way.

Work hard for what you want
Nothing good comes easy (unfortunately). You are going to have to work for the things you want. I have a long list of things I want to achieve and for sometime it was just a list. Recently I have decided to tackle the list because I can't keep dreaming without putting any effort. I have been learning HTML, CSS, JavaScript and Unity. I have also been learning how to draw and it's so amazing to see my hard work paying off. I am so glad I got this advice because with every goal I would like to achieve comes hard work because dreams don't work unless you do.

Take a risk
Another that we hear a lot but this is basically how I live my life (well I try). I'm always trying new things and taking risks because if you don't try you'll never know. I just decided to start this blog one day and look at me now. My blog is one of the best things in my life right now and that is just looking at one aspect of my life. Sometimes you take a risk and things don't go your way but sometimes they do. I guess there is only one way to find out.
